Wuxia Novelist: A Writer's Blog

Wuxia Novelist: A Writer's Blog looks at the broad range of issues encountered by me as a novelist working in the Chinese wuxia (heroic fiction) genre. I have, however, a very broad background and this blog will not narrowly focus on one genre of literature, rather I will consider books, movies, and ideas that relate to my life as a writer. Historical Novel Society Interview

Last year, I had an interesting online interview with Ms. Cindy Vallar of Solander magazine, which is the Historical Fiction Society's magazine. Cindy asked a number of intriguing questions regarding how I go about "world-building" medieval China. She regularly writes "The Red Pencil" column which looks at how writers do their thing, so to speak. So if you're interested in how I developed a particular aspect of the historical background to my novel, Dream of the Dragon Pool - A Daoist Quest, just go to http://www.aadalia.com/SolanderNov09.pdf

Enjoy!

Zaijian!
